In early September 2019 Hurricane Dorian hit the Bahamas as a catastrophic Category 5 storm. On Abaco Island residents fought to survive the storm for nearly 40 hours. In the days after, they were forced to evacuate, leaving behind their homes and close-knit community for an uncertain future.
